On May 29th 2018, the project’s PARTNERS met at Trieste to attend the e-IMPACT final meeting. The project ended June 30th 2018. The main subject of the meeting was to present the project developments, following-up each of its related Business Cases to their achieved final state and make a final overview of the project, as presenting, simultaneously, to the INEA’s Project Officer. Each PARTNER presented the deliverables of each work package (activities) in which they have been involved, as well as the final progress of their related achievements. Clara Xavier from the Port of Lisbon, as the Project Coordinator, presented an Overview of the project, as well as the Dissemination events and the Project Management activities. The Project Technical Coordinator, Jan Tore Pedersen, has presented the technical overview of the project achievements and its The INEA’s Project Officer, Cristina Amil-Lopez, has made a final presentation to help clarifying some particularities of the procedural aspects of the project now that it comes to an end.

Green Logistics Expo - Padua

The E-Impact project was presented during the Green Logistics Expo 2018 with a dedicated stand. The event is an innovative exhibition where leaders of intermodal transport, industrial logistics and e-commerce come together in order to discuss the challenges of Sustainable Logistics where efficiency meets the environment. The exhibition was an important opportunity for private operators, such as logistics and terminal operators and freight forwarders and Public Institutions, such as Port Authorities and Regional Administrations to disseminate their work and the results of their projects. Furthermore, during the event the Coordinators of the Mediterranean and Baltic – Adriatic corridors Mr. Laurens Jan Brinkhorst and Mr. Kurt Bodewig presented the general progress in the implementation of their Work Plans and the next steps. INEA was present as well with a focus on Italian CEF projects. The event was a fruitful opportunity to disseminate the E-Impact project and discuss possible spin offs.Link to the event

Released File Package - "Connector" example on how to interact with the "Access Point"

In the context of the EU Project e-IMPACT, the “Connector Example” demonstrated last week in Rome’s Meeting is now available. The main purpose of this piece of software is to illustrate how companies’ in-house systems can interact with the Access Point, taking the benefits from the e-Freight Interoperability Infrastructure. The example covers both inbound and outbound messages’ flows in a context of an hypothetical business scenario. The “Connector example” file package can be downloaded on the link provided below, containing all the items related with the example connector. Includes source code and installation manual.

Released File Package - Full installation package of the "Access Point"

In the context of the EU Project e-IMPACT, the “Access Point” file package with “e-IMPACT Access Point full installation” is now available. This major result is an essential piece for the mise en place of the e-Freight Interoperability Infrastructure. Being based on the CEF Digital building block eDelivery, assures a coherent and supported evolution path, and the usage of EU supported current or future digital services. The “Access Point” file package can be downloaded in the link below, and contains all the items related with the installation of it. Connectivity tests can be done against the link for the site provided below too. The site contains further instructions for testing.Link to site for connectivity tests

Project Partners Meeting

On November 7th and 8th 2017, the project partners met in Rome for a technical meeting where the main subject was to follow-up the several Business Cases and the adoption of Activity 1 toolkit and the access point technology.

e-Impact project brings closer CEF Transport and CEF Digital

The e-Freight Implementation Action (e-Impact) is a project funded by Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Transport programme, aiming to implement paperless and seamless information flows along the whole transport logistics chain. The project involves the creation of a message exchange infrastructure that enables shippers, freight forwarders, transport carriers, network managers as well as authorities to communicate with one another in a secure, interoperable and reliable way. e-Impact reuses the CEF eDelivery building block of CEF Digital as the basis of this message exchange infrastructure. As a result, CEF eDelivery will be used in four real-life trials in the core ports of Trieste in Italy, Gdansk, Gdynia, Szczecin and Świnoujście in Poland, and Leixões and Lisbon in Portugal.(...)

The "Motorways of the Sea" Forum - The Maritime Dimension of the TEN-T Network was a success of participation and content. An important time for sharing and sharing between transport, shipping and infrastructure institutions and operators on the European Sea-based Autonomous Policies in the TEN-T networks. The DBA partner, leader of Activity 2 which includes the Trieste Business Case: Multimodal freight journey planning and booking, made a general presentation of the E-Impact project and its business cases.

On March 14th and 15th 2017, the partners met at Poznan for a technical meeting where the main subject was to make an overview of the Project and an upgrade of development of the several Business Cases. Also, it was an opportunity to present a new Polish partner and to settle the following steps.

Project Kick-off meeting

On May 24th and 25th 2016, the Kick Off meeting took place in Lisbon where each partner presented the Activities in which is foreseen its involvement as well as the progress of the related activities. The Kick Off has been a useful meeting in order to coordinate the synergic deployment of the activities among all partners. Also the presence of the Management Officer was very clarifying for some particular aspects of the on-going work.
